This rain event is no drought-buster but more of a bust as the deep tropical moisture has been held hostage along a frontal boundary in South Florida. This means there is higher confidence of dry weather for the big game. @FCN2go

The Blue Ridge Parkway will be lit in just a couple weeks with peak color on track for the last week of October. I will be heading north soon! @FCN2go

We have had rain amounts of 4-8” in the last 48 hours in parts of coastal Pinellas and Manatee Counties. Now we dry out, and looking forward to a vintage Sand Key sunset!

Expecting to make it official with our 6th named storm (Fernand) of the season this afternoon. Hurricane hunters are checking this out right now.
