This is such an interesting comment. And I would like to believe Otomura, but Seigi isn’t it making easy right now.

And I wonder why Otomura is happy about Seigis reaction.

I mean, Otomura spends quite some time with them so he sees a bit deeper into their relationship. But that Seigi sees less than him… what do you mean with "I pretended to be his fiancé but nothing changed??"

Oh my god… How is it that Seigi can see *something changed* but not WHAT changed! Richard is sitting in front of him—like a flower in full bloom because of love—and he doesn’t see it…

Richard tries his best so Seigi gets what is happening, and "take a hard look at yourself" is everything we need to know to understand Seigi in this book. Because he doesn’t reflect on himself at all.

Is Richard teasing Seigi here? Maybe because of Seigis talk about Tanimoto just now? And Seigi doesn’t notice it?

This time I believe Richard that he actually would tell Seigi. Not like his hollow promise in the turquoise case in vol 3 😂 "I would call on you for help when I think I need it, even without the invitation."

@maetae2288 I think he was a good man since the beginning, because he tends to do good things instead of bad ones. But that is why he sacrifices himself so much to make other people happy, and that hurts too 😭

It’s always so sad to hear what kind of childhood Seigi had… Not only he had an abusive father—his relationship between his mother and grandmother was complicated too, and after she died Hiromi fell into a depression and Seigi felt he needed to shoulder it all on his own…
