after 4-5 years, I finally built my personal website :)) took 3-4 weeks to actually do it it's not a portfolio to showcase case-studies. it's a room - a place for everything I'm building, thinking and experimenting with going forward not perfect. never will be. that's the point prathamesh.world (please experience it on desktop + 🎧) made with the help of humans and a lot of AI tools. there's a super secret credit section hidden in the site - find it to know

@planetgauri typically, one use to be enough. but given AI and everything moving so fast, I think the speed of experimentation and quantity also matters a lot. 1 quality project + (n) projects / experiments you are doing with AI, along with taste and craft.

is this the most unique footer? if not the best. a 3d statue of brahma dev, the creator god, lit up in the dark and spinnable with your mouse. the reason is the entire idea of the site. just like brahma created the universe, i created this world. so the ending isn't a footer, it's a reveal of the creator behind it. here's how i actually made it. i generated an image of the statue in ChatGPT first. then i took that image into MeshyAI, which turned it into a 3d model. but the part i'm most proud of is the lighting. that's not baked into an image or uploaded from somewhere. the statue is rendered live in the browser with three.js (through a react version of it called react-three-fiber), and every light is placed and controlled in code. a warm spotlight orbits the statue, rim lights catch the edges, and a bloom effect makes only the gold parts glow. i did a lot of iterations to land on lighting that felt right, and that's what makes it feel real instead of like a screenshot. coded by Claude Code (Opus 4.8). you just have to imagine it and ask AI. you never know what's possible until you try. crazy times! I'm not liking sharing these but people are still dming me for the breakdown of how I made my personal website.

interesting video for people who are working on the future of user interfaces. how can AI platform and interfaces help users to think more? can it be designed in a way - that it promotes Human + AI collaboration naturally without humans putting effort youtu.be/3lPnN8omdPA?si… @AdvaitSarkar

At the start of the year, I gave myself a goal: Hit $10k by the end of August. Just realized I crossed that goal before August even started. A quick breakdown: • Worked with X amazing clients • Shipped multiple AI products • Built a bunch of SwiftUI and interaction experiments • Got featured in Figma’s Made in Figma campaign in San Francisco • Started taking my design studio more seriously Still a long way to go, but this was a milestone I wanted to celebrate. Next goal: bigger.

how I built these tiny SVG icons on my site? in the origin section - little sketch icons sit right inside the sentences. hover a word like "art" and a tiny icon draws itself in, stroke by stroke, like someone's doodling it live. here's how they were actually made: i didn't open figma, i didn't hand-code the shapes. i just told claude (chat in web) "i need an icon that feels hand-drawn," asked for a few options, and picked the one that felt right. that was it. the springy motion took longer. that part was trial and error, tweaking how bouncy it feels, how fast it draws, how it settles. but even that i did by prompting and adjusting, not by writing it all from scratch. that's the whole shift. first imagine something, then describe it and trust me you'll be surprised. just imagine! day 1 of sharing how I made my personal website as a lot you asked. will share the entire guide on day 4. till then specific sections.

@yanliudesign awesome idea, I just hope it is deterministic and not getting generated real time on the fly :)) coz that would be crazy!

Vibe coded my this little silly idea: An interactive search bar turns words into living, dithered retro worlds. 🐟 fish → bubbling tank 🐈 cat → cozy room 🐕 dog → backyard 🌸 flower → blooming garden 🎋 bamboo → bamboo grove The magic isn't just in the making—it's in knowing what to cut, what to adjust, and what's right. ₊˚⊹ ᰔ

Need to rework on my personal site, having a portfolio doesn’t make sense anymore I am not bound by just pixels anymore, I dev, I design, I art direct, I create So many things, time to go short single page. The more minimal, the more clear
