This amazing man of God @revjamesrobison changed the trajectory of my Father’s life and my life. If it wasn’t for James - I wouldn’t have understood John 17 and Jesus’ passion for His Body to be One and His passion for the lost and hurting. If it wasn’t for James, I wouldn’t have discovered the Holy Spirit as a 14 year old. If I hadn’t worked for James when I was 18-20 while I was in Bible school and become the night supervisor of the prayer ministry at @LifeTodayTV, I wouldn’t have learned leadership skills. If he hadn’t encouraged me for years in politics and running for office, I might have lost myself in the muddiness of it all. If it wasn’t for James, Christians Engaged wouldn’t have made it during the second and third year of this ministry. He believed in our team and told us we would change the world. If he hadn’t been like a father to me speaking identity over me at key moments of my journey, I would not have had the courage to go on. He wrote the foreword to my first book “Jesus and Politics” and I am honoring him as a Nehemiah in my new book “Stepping to Lead” that launches on Tuesday. He went on to be with Jesus on the eve of the rededication. He championed and prayed for America Reads the Bible and this national moment today. He is cheering us on. Thanking God for James Robison’s amazing life! We honor our advisory board member of Christians Engaged who always believed we would be the most effective civic engagement ministry in the nation. We pray for Betty, Randy, Rhonda, and the whole team at Life Outreach International, and I know James is reunited with Robin, his daughter and one of my dear friends now dancing in heaven together. He is LIVING AMAZED now seeing Jesus face to face and Jesus is saying - “Well done, good and faithful servant.” We mourn not as the world mourns - we give thanks for a life well lived. I am forever thankful for this spiritual father who taught me to love well and live with courage.
