There will be ladies prettier than your woman and men richer than your man. So if you don’t know what you want, you’ll forever change partners.

Singer Naledi Aphiwe Offers R10 000 Reward After Booking Scam Shock Award winning singer Naledi Aphiwe has offered a R10 000 cash reward for information that could help track down a person allegedly linked to a scam involving her hacked booking number. The artist, whose real name is Naledi Myongwane, issued a public warning on Thursday after discovering that an unauthorised individual had allegedly been impersonating her management team to secure fake event bookings. Naledi, who comes from Inanda township north of Durban in KwaZulu-Natal, said promoters and booking agents should be extremely cautious after her official booking line was compromised. According to a statement released by the I Will Be Waiting For You singer, any communication or payment requests linked to 072 693 9541 or Capitec account number 2066879823 should be treated as fraudulent. The statement further identified the alleged scam suspect as Xolani Keitumetse Chiloane, and listed 076 495 2590 as the contact number allegedly connected to the scam. Naledi said a R10 000 reward is now being offered for information that leads to the apprehension of the person involved. “Please assist in addressing this situation by providing any relevant information to the appropriate law enforcement authorities,” the statement said. She also urged promoters, event organisers and other stakeholders to verify all booking communication before making any payments or commitments. Naledi stressed that all official bookings and business engagements must only be handled through her verified email address: bookings@nalediaphiwe.com. The warning comes as artists across South Africa continue to face growing problems with scammers who impersonate management teams, hijack booking channels and target event promoters with fake payment requests.
