A2: Listen, ask questions, seek to understand, & assume positive intent. Parents want to be heard & they're advocating for their child. Let's work together bridge misunderstanding with grace & compassion for them, us, & the student. It's all about learning together! #teachpos

@Shapiro_WTHS A1: In 40 years of teaching, how can you not? I've been threatened with physical violence, had my share of verbal abuse. Some parents need parenting classes and communicating classes. Blessed to have mostly supportive admin. that supported and protected me. #teachpos

@Shapiro_WTHS BA: I feel like this is different for me. I am being paid more than I've ever been paid or could be paid anywhere else in the state, plus I'm not the primary breadwinner.
I don't know how others do it, quote frankly, and coupled with student loans?
