Life has a way of teaching you patience when nothing seems to be moving. There are moments when it feels like you’re putting in effort and getting nothing back, watching time pass while everything stays the same.

Big Tech's biggest fear has a name. Action Model. Team A — Big Tech "We invested billions into AI. Of course we should own it." Team B — @ActionModelAI "But who actually trained it?" Team A "We built the platforms." Team B "And billions of people filled those platforms with data, actions, workflows, behavior, and human intelligence." Team A "Users get free products. That's the trade." Team B "No. Users created the value. The trade was never equal." Team A "We collect the data, improve the models, and monetize the outcome." Team B "Exactly the problem." For years, the AI economy ran on one unspoken rule. People do the work, corporations own the output, shareholders collect the upside. Nobody was asked. The extraction just happened, buried in terms of service nobody read, powering models nobody owned a piece of. Action Model breaks that rule. Before: People work. Corporations own. Shareholders earn. Now: People work. People own. People earn. Team A "If contributors own the AI, we lose control." Team B "If contributors built the intelligence, why shouldn't they?" Team A "Decentralized ownership threatens the business model." Team B "Because the business model was built on extraction." ActionFi matters because it challenges the core assumption Silicon Valley was built on: that platforms deserve all the ownership while the people powering them get none. The real debate was never "who builds the smartest model?" It is "who owns the value it creates?" The intelligence was always yours. ActionFi just makes sure the ownership is too.

Today, my brain took up an “outside-the-box” activity: analyzing the @zama logo. Ever notice how the logo has its letters with disjointed ends? It uses a kind of geometric, minimalist typeface where the strokes are (deliberately) incomplete at sharp angles.

When I first heard about Fully Homomorphic Encryption, it felt like sci-fi. Compute on encrypted data without ever decrypting? _Unbelievable!_ Then I tried Concrete by @zama, their open-source TFHE compiler, and suddenly, FHE became a simplified Python code I could run.
