Prediction markets are usually sold as simple "Yes/No" contracts on future events. But as I've been working on the @PrediDesk relaunch, I’ve noticed something: exchanges are inconsistent with how they structure these contracts. It’s not just a data annoyance; it has non-trivial consequences for traders and devs.

PrediDesk has gone DARK! Development on PrediDesk began as an exercise in semantic aggregation. We successfully matched events across Kalshi and Polymarket, but we’ve realized that matching similar titles isn’t enough. Prediction contracts are effectively options on entities, dates, and prices. A true aggregator must extract the underlying logic that persists across every platform. We are taking the site down to rebuild. The new PrediDesk will reinvent how you explore prediction markets with a more robust architecture. As we roll out these features, we’ll need dedicated testers to provide feedback and help us evolve. @brian_armstrong This is awesome! Are these markets essentially @Kalshi markets, just listed on Coinbase? After the @theclearingco acquisition, I was wondering if Coinbase were going to make their own indepedent exchange for prediciton markets, but that is probably depedent on CFTC approval.

Prediction markets are the ultimate form of truth seeking. When there’s skin in the game, the output is far more reliable. Everything else is biased by someone's agenda. I think we’ll look back at prediction markets as a breakthrough in how we discover truth in the world. Prediction markets are now fully live in the U.S. on Coinbase, you can trade what’s happening in sports, politics, culture, news, and more. Update your app and look for the "Predict" tab at the bottom.

Predidesk is one of the few platforms letting you sort by Open Interest. While volume can be inflated by wash trading, Open Interest shows where the money is actually sitting. A much cleaner signal for true market depth. 📈

Predidesk already has @Kalshi and @Polymarket aggregated on our platform, but it's time for more. @opinionlabsxyz has a nice API, and will be integrated soon. Are there any other exchanges we can include? @MyriadMarkets may be a good candidate, but not sure if they have an API available.
