@AbolishTedCruz @PresArchive @Maxthecat5905 Only Ford had a chance in that election. Ford ran on the Human Life Amendment, even though he became pro-choice later. McGovern did not vote for Ford in the general. Not true. Carter won because enough white southerners voted for him.
