Counterfeit Goods Bust in Gauteng A Gauteng Counterfeit and Contraband Operation led to the execution of two search and seizure warrants in Pretoria East and Fordsburg on July 4 and 5, 2024. One suspect was arrested for contravening the Counterfeit Goods Act. Police seized 184 counterfeit presidential shirts valued at R569,000. The suspect is expected to appear in court soon. The operation was conducted by Commercial Crime Investigations and Brand Protectors.
