[FM MOTEGI's visit to France] -Message from Les Vaux-de-Cernay – All programs of the G7 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting have now concluded. Over the course of two days, I participated in six sessions. Tensions remain high, we firmly reaffirmed that ensuring the safety of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, as well as maintaining peace and stability in the Middle East, are critically important from the perspective of energy security, and that the G7 will continue to work in close coordination. Regarding the situation in the Indo-Pacific, as the only member country from Asia of the G7, I conveyed Japan’s position and views and also provided a thorough explanation of the recent situation in the region. Furthermore, on this occasion, I exchanged views with H.E. Mr. Jean-Noël BARROT, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic, the Rt Hon Yvette COOPER, Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, H.E. Dr. Johann WADEPHUL, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, and H.E.
