⚡️RELEASE DAY SPOTLIGHT⚡️ @PressingStrings : "…And I For You" Acclaimed Annapolis, Maryland-based trio @PressingStrings has released their 9th studio album "...And I For You" out NOW via @thewarrenhaynes' @EvilTeenRecords ! Pressing Strings' influences range from folk, blues, rock, funk, soul, and reggae. "…And I For You" marks the most fully realized set of songs yet from Pressing Strings, one that touches on timeless themes that resonate and find meaning at a time when turmoil and tenacity seem so predominant within a weary world. The 11-song collection reminds us that gratitude, devotion, and the wisdom to recognize that even in the midst of uncertainty there are virtues that are important to cling to, which, in turn, can ultimately lead to true satisfaction. Pressing Strings shared 5️⃣Things they want you to know about "...And I for You"! -The intro of the album is actually Jordan’s 4 year old daughter, Ellie. They were both sitting on the couch, and she was having a moment of innocent introspection. Being a fan of 90s era interludes on albums, we decided to put it as the first track to set the tone. -The song “We Will Be Alright” on the album started as a guitar riff 10+ years ago. And in 2020 this song came back to Jordan in a dream. He heard the melody and lyrics, woke up in the middle of the night and wrote it. -This is the first Pressing Strings record that all members sing harmonies on. -In October 2021, our drummer Justin Kruger joined the band.
