Yes, according to multiple accounts, Donald Trump provided information to law enforcement about Jeffrey Epstein’s misconduct. In the early 2000s, amid the Palm Beach Police Department’s investigation into Epstein’s sexual abuse of minors at his Florida mansion, Trump reportedly tipped off authorities after learning of Epstein’s behavior toward underage girls at his Mar-a-Lago resort. He banned Epstein from the property around 2007 following an incident where Epstein allegedly harassed a teenage daughter of a club member. Trump later confirmed to biographer Michael Wolff that he had alerted police, and Epstein himself believed Trump was behind the probe that led to his 2005 scrutiny. In 2009, Trump assisted victims’ attorney Brad Edwards by sharing details on Epstein’s activities during civil lawsuits, with Edwards describing Trump as the “only person” who was “unafraid” to help at the time—though Edwards later accused Trump of an “about-face” post-2016. House Speaker Mike Johnson echoed this in September 2025, initially claiming Trump acted as an “FBI informant” to “take this stuff down,” before clarifying it referred to his cooperation with prosecutors. No evidence supports claims that Trump warned Epstein about the 2019 FBI raid or arrest; their contact had ended years earlier, and recent emails (e.g., Epstein alleging Trump “knew about the girls”) fuel speculation but don’t indicate tipping off. Trump has denied knowledge of Epstein’s crimes, emphasizing he cut ties after hearing “rumors.”

An important side note about today's Epstein/Trump revelations. They show that Todd Blanche's questioning of Ghislaine Maxwell was either (a) completely incompetent; or (b) intentionally crafted not to elicit facts incriminating Trump. Either way, he is not fit to serve as Deputy Attorney General of the United States.
