I’ve been informed by a feminist that I’m to blame for the misogyny of a jackass male law partner.
It’s too bad this feminist didn’t ask me for details about the story before lying about me.
If she had, she would have learned that the managing partner privately told me that Mr Misogynist was lazy AF and subsequently protected me from Mr Misogynist by keeping me all to himself after this incident so that I wouldn’t feel demoralized and quit. I’m sure that’s because I was a bad lawyer, though.

My black pill moment as a woman in law was when a partner asked me to review a male *paralegal* who routinely slacked off, worked on personal things at work, and kept providing shoddy work that had to be redone entirely. I gave him my honest feedback (tactfully enough), he smiled at me and said, “Sounds like everything’s great!” And closed my office door. Later that week, he invited the paralegal out to a fancy lunch. Fml. This is the same guy who tried to undermine my hiring by telling lies about my language skills. He was so terrible that the partner senior to him caught onto the misogyny and, afraid that I would quit, began looking out for me by aggressively keeping me off his deals.
