Finished my 80 trainer battles for lvl 80! I did it in 3 days. Now to finish the 999 excellent throws & 80 raids!

@edimmuz 100% Agreed - bad for the game, but fun as Hell. I hope it's replaced with something good, for example make the KBD have a hard mode option we can do whenever, and new permanent training methods for the other stuff, like div, farming, hunter, etc.

Wilderness flash events were one of runescapes greatest failures when it came to early game progression, skipping a lot of game knowledge in pursuit of xp but God damn did it make the world feel alive

@TheoryWiseOS @cellblock73 Realistically $30 isn't that big of a deal, It's the gesture that I dislike. 2026 is about integrity & putting the players first. Yet 1 day after the controversial melee/mage nerfs they announce the price incrase. I'd be less offended if I was at least grandfathered from premiere

I mean, $30 a year is legit nothing, but yes, we've gotten a ramp up in player support. Which is by no means great, by the way. I definitely promote a criticism of Jagex for not delivering great player support. But what we have gotten is more content than ever, which works out for me, too.

The interesting/sad thing about watching the Runescape players melt down over needing to pay $15 a month for the game is not that they're upset over a price hike, that is relatively normal... But just how faith the comparisons to other MMOs become just to service that outrage. Runescape is the only popular MMO on earth that isn't suffocated by a vicious cash shop, and yet people act as though sustaining that doesn't obviously come with its own issues (such as monthly prices increasing).

@TheoryWiseOS True, it is a much bigger studio now, more expensive to maintain, & most other live service games are absolutely disgustingly greedy compared to RS, & with far worse communication. But what irks me is the CEO told us he is taking short term loss for long term gain, then does this

We can adjust for inflation, sure, but we also have to keep in mind a growing investment from Jagex themselves, right? The OSRS team literally quintupled in size over the past 8 years, no? The game is far more expensive to run today than it ever has been. That isn't to say the membership price can or should increase indefinitely, but it's a relatively small price to pay for a game that is unpolluted by the kinds of monetization practices every other popular MMO on earth has.

@TheoryWiseOS I agree, rs is the hardest mmo. I am not even sure which is harder between osrs & rs3. Osrs has gotten progressively harder over the years, but stuff like high enrage telos, zammy, etc can be quite insane. Imo the stuff Evilucario does is even crazier than the stuff woox does.

My next video is about how Runescape is the Hardest MMO. It might actually become the longest video I have ever made, since I needed to spend a portion of it discussing some of the most insanely complex mechanics I've ever seen in an MMO. This game is insane.

@TheoryWiseOS Dungeoneering is definitely outdated now and I totally understand why people avoid it, but in 2010 it was an indescribable experience. Speed running floors with friends was amazing and it took a lot of skill. Chaotic weps were so incredibly powerful & fun to use pre-eoc.

Someone needs to explain to me how the Runescape 3 team has put out so much content so quickly? It's like the team tripled in size overnight. Super impressive (and exciting) to see! I personally hated doing dungeoneering, so I hope this remaster makes it engaging. Especially considering they're nerfing the actually fun Elite Dungeon DG output.

@Bazz_Army I had lost the kree pet due to being afk twice now. Once at around 1k kc once at 5k. Seeing this reminds me to keep trying and not let it get to me! I wonder how many times you would have got pet?

@theverybest5000 It was in the blog post amongst all the changes, like replacing spotlight hour, go battle league days, extra trade days, etc. I have to keep up with everything because im a community ambassador and host a lot of events. Max Mondays basically got buffed and the next day its normal

@PrestonGraff Ah... Have they released official statements/ information on this? Or is this based on what players have observed?

Did they remove the inactive powerstops? You know when they show up the day before to indicate it will be active the next day. This one popped up at my apartment this morning but there was no indication for it yesterday 🤔 I'm looking around my area and I actually don't see a single inactive one atm which feels suspicious??? Anyone know?????
