@primetimeMitch Her numbers are impressive, but also a result of taking the most shots in D1. Her average game is 8-for-15 from two and 1-for-4 from three, which is a lot of points, but it's also a LOT of possessions. I think it's fine if she doesn't always get completely rewarded for that.

No. This is the stupidest rule in sports. There’s zero basketball reason that a timeout should advance the ball. It’s an entertainment prop and I hate it. Imagine the NFL saying “if you call a timeout before the kickoff you’ll get the ball at the opponent’s 35.” Dumb.

Here’s a “No brainer” for Men’s College Basketball… Timeout advances the basketball into the front court. The women do it. The NBA does it. No brainer

One note from me: pretty surprised not to see Kentucky in here. The committee’s criteria includes “competitive in losses” and takes into account the impact of injuries. Now that they’re expected to be fully healthy, I’d think they’re a Top-16 team.

One of the primary issues people raise with the 24-team playoff is that "8-4 Iowa" would make it. Well, "8-4 Iowa" also: 1. Came closest of any team to beating the undefeated national champions that season. 2. Sent the second-most players to the NFL Combine in the Big Ten. 3. Beat a Vanderbilt team that contended for a spot in the 12-team playoff. Brand bias and judging teams solely by their record have to end.
