I am successfully restraining my first impulse which was to call for it to be banned. I support freedom, even the freedom to make products that can only be used to hurt people.

What a glorious day to be alive. Was at a local bluegrass festival. Had 78 degree weather, a gentle breeze, great music, and great internet connection. Live life to the fullest.

If rules that you have to play by are different than the rules that they have to play by. It ain't about rules. It's there are a different set of rules for which side you're on. Second order effects. Careful of playing games where the rules are different. That's the rule.

@convexity888 @vgr Munger and Kahnemann and Taleb (I think) recognized that behavior labeled as biases or misjudgement was contextual. It is behavior which in the modern world is counterproductive but earlier in our evolution was productive.

@vgr How to you explain the fact that Charlier Munger and his ilk who trade off them are rich and we are skeptical and poor?

Matthew 7:1-6 • judge not lest you be judged - the same measure you use will be measured on you • do you look at a speck in your brother's eye, oblivious to a plank in your own? • do not give what is holy to dogs, nor cast your pearls before swine

Matthew 6:25-34 • which of you, by worrying, can add one cubit to his stature? • seek first the Kingdom of God & His Righteousness - all these things shall be added to you • sufficient for the day is it’s own trouble

The problem with the game is the game never stops. Even if you think it stops. That's why there's no winning. Winning is a selfie. Next day it starts again. There's a game outside the game. That's outside the game. Don't forget one thing about the game, you're on the clock.

@PaulPortesi @JoeSingh7 Everything eventually fails (entropy?). Winning is but the deferral of failure. It is more difficult to explain what has not yet happened than what has happened. Black swan-ish.
