I didn’t want to pile on more negativity, but this is vile. @MumbrianSpinner I used Close Brothers for my folks house. They were really efficient to deal with, and very clear on the conditions of the policy (regular checks etc). Also very easy to terminate when no longer needed.

You’re lying. The only way you’d know a woman was dealing with period pain is if she said so. Nothing about her “expressions and body language” would give her away. We’ve been dealing with periods since we were 9-13 years old. We’ve learned to function with pain.

@Ginger_Tucci I used to volunteer for Samaritans (following my own massive breakdown and recovery), and can absolutely vouch for the comparative ease of talking with strangers. It’s a privilege to be trusted in that way. I hope your brain gives you peace and quiet soon x

I’ve never lied about my struggles with anxiety etc on here. So shan’t now. The last month or so I’ve really hit a brick wall with it. And this is the bizarre thing about anxiety- it comes from nowhere. Nothing has happened. I probably have a lovely life to everyone.

@mattforde A wee under the radar Canadian comedy called Corner Gas. It’s funny, a bit weird and full of heart.

Last time I was in hospital, I binged Curb Your Enthusiasm. Then during my recovery I binged The Office (US). This time I’ve started on 30 Rock so that I can binge it during my recovery. I’m tearing through it too fast. What other modern American comedy series are there?

@PrettyFlaming10 I like an all weather do. We used to have a bearded collie that just refused to come in regardless of the weather…. Alas, I now have a fair weather boy. And even in fair weather he’s not that arsed.

I couldn’t give a solitary shit if your opinion on Ozempic/Mounjaro/etc is that it’s cheating, lazy, bad…. I haven’t seen so many people use a product so quickly that has made them so, so much happier and feel better in themselves. It’s astounding.
