@Prexy2000
The best and most beautiful fighter jet you've never heard of. I will like and repost anything Skyray related. I also really like sharks, cars and tanks.

The prototype Vought F-8 Crusader flew for the first time #OTD in 1955. The Crusader was the first carrier-based jet fighter to exceed 1,000 miles per hour. The RF-8G in our collection was the last operational Navy F-8: s.si.edu/4c4bXy8

Today's "Odd Tank" is the 🇺🇸 American 'T1E1 (M6A2)'
Built in the 1940's, this Heavy Tank prototype would be apart of the development with the M6A1 Heavy tank, though none of the tanks in the program would see combat. The biggest difference between the T1E1 and the M6A1 is that it used a cast hull and a different gas electric transmission. There was also the M6 which also used a cast hull which can cause some identification issues.
The Armament consisted of a 76mm M7 Gun and a smaller coaxial 37mm M6 gun.
The heavy tank was powered by a 800hp Wright Radial G-200 9-cylinder engine and had a top speed of 32km/h.
Special Thank you to @Randomcardude for today's Odd Tank suggestion!
