As a nurse and single mother, I’ve spent years saving other people’s children while struggling to save my own. My son is battling substance abuse, and I’m trying to get him into rehab but I cannot afford it alone.if anyone can assist, advise, or share this post, I would deeply 🙏🏻

@Prezozo88 I know SANCA is for free but I don't know what the accommodation is like. If you have medical aid you can try Houghton House or Changes Rehab in Johannesburg. If you don't have medical aid and explain your circumstances they might offer free treatment, or direct you to the right

People will never know this pain until it visits their families.
The rehabs clinics/ centres and their exorbitant costs are another pandemic altogether. 💔

@Prezozo88 @SothoDudu @unathi79 Hi sis,I'd suggest that you go consult a seer/traditional person with him then opt in for the western route as soon as you figure out if its a generational problem or whatever he might be missing in his spiritual life. Rehab will then work otherwise it would be like forcing him.

@Prezozo88 @The_DSD has social workers that can arrange a rehab center for him, you wont have to pay anything. Just call them for more info.

@Prezozo88 Yes. Try to get him in as soon as possible. He will probably be upset, but in the long term, it will benefit him. Many addicts do recover,even though they look they never will. I hope that your son gets well and has a happy, healthy life ahead of him.

A lot of single mothers that are in this line of work have this issue waitse. It actually always breaks my heart because the single mothers literally work so hard for them only for them to turn to substance abuse.💔💔
