@flyscoot @flyscoot my parents are unable to get a travel insurance because they don’t have a confirmed booking because of your mistake. You guys are telling me the same thing that I have been hearing from the customer service for the last 2 weeks. Is this how you treat a genuine customer?

@flyscoot my booking was cancelled and refund was made without my confirmation. I was told I need to confirm via email for a cancellation and refund, which I didn’t do. I reached out to customer service to fix this. Why is your process very slow even when is your own mistake.

@flyscoot I’m extremely disappointed with scoot airlines’ customer service. I called to ENQUIRE about a refund and was clearly told that the refund would only proceed after I confirmed via email.

Why should I wait 7–14 days for a mistake made by the airline? This situation is urgent and extremely stressful. I hope @flyscoot resolves this promptly. Case number available if needed. Also I paid in AUD and was refunded in INR.

I was told that it’s been escalated to reinstantiate the booking.— yet no resolution. Meanwhile: •The ScootPlus seats I booked for my parents are now taken on one flight. •My parents can’t even purchase travel insurance without a confirmed booking.

And a voucher has been given — without my consent. It’s been a week since I first reported this. I’ve made 40+ calls/chats and keep being told it’s “escalated” with a 7–14 day wait time. A supervisor has apparently listened to the call recording.

I confirmed multiple times during the call that initiating it would NOT automatically cancel my booking. I later decided not to proceed and decided not to confirm the refund via email. Instead, 5 days later, I received an email saying my booking had already been cancelled.
