The Lloydminster Kinsmen & Kinettes, along with the entire community, really stepped up this year. This afternoon, the Kinsmen and Kinette Clubs donated $161 433.98 to Telemiracle 50 from funds raised through Geeks on the Peak & Telemiracle Steak Night. Great job, Lloydminster!

The Lloydminster Junior B Bandits won their first game against Killam on Friday night, 7–2. They’re back on the ice tonight for Game 2. The Bandits will also host provincials April 1–5, and tickets are now available. they’re looking for volunteers & sponsorships are available.

Lakeland College will host Program Info Sessions on Friday (March 6), and Dana Gard-Sweeny and Jessica Amundrud told us different sessions will take place at both the Vermilion campus and the Lloydminster campus.

Breaking: Geeks On The Peak raises over $100 000 for Telemiracle 50. The total was a little short until the Kinsmen asked for $100 donations which came pouring in at Telemiracle Steak Night.

@sskroughriders why didn’t Lloydminster get a grey cup tour date? 2007 Jim Hopson brought the cup here and 2013 we got Cory Sheets & more and both times raised over $30 000 for charity. Maybe just not announced yet?
