Sometimes, I think we live in the United States of AMNESIA. People say we were better off four years ago?? Ummm … Four years ago, a roll of toilet paper 🧻 was a luxury! Trump had thrown Obama’s brilliant playbook for handling a pandemic in the trash 🗑️— and then Trump botched things so badly that an extra half a million Americans died (compared to the death rate in similar countries). And don’t get me started about January 6 !!! We had two good years under Trump — mainly because he inherited an outstanding economy from Obama. Trump gave a big tax break to his rich friends, ran up a massive debt and tanked the economy. After COVID, inflation went up EVERYWHERE, in every country. But under Biden/Harris it came down faster here, and so did unemployment. #SoftLanding No — we aren’t out of the woods yet! But we have finally ALMOST recovered from the collapse that began under Trump. Why would we put the same pilot back in the cockpit who crashed the plane last time? Do you really want to go back to chaos? I don’t.
