Genshin is not good at writing comedy and it’s like really evident with their gags and long running jokes. They’re better at writing human connections, heavy lore and interesting plots. Comedy, generally, is one of their weaker points.

@focalorism I get that people aren't wording it well, but you are also taking it out of context here. The point is, Shinobu is a character, she is not there as a blank slate to project yourself on, she can do whatever, this is a real situation she is in, not just someone deciding she has to.

@focalorism To be completely fair, most the time Shinobu having to babysit them is a direct result of them being stupid in Shinobu's absence, since she's only really there like 30% of the time, she has her own life going on too.

@ton4174 @dailyceladon Issue is, those Rift Hounds were only invented by her, they were released by the Vinster King during the 5 Sinner's attack on the palace. For Bakunawa, the only issue was how hard it was to kill, in the end it was locked away in an already dead land.

@kenstannie I swear Venti and Zhongli were consorting with how quickly they were trying to ditch their Gnoses, conveniently within the same year. Ei apparently never cared about hers, while Neuvilette and Nahida just weren't attached. Nobody wants the damn things.

I am not providing an interpretation, I am stating what was said in the quest.

I still treat Furina as an "archon" even tho she technically isnt cuz she still did an archon's job for 500 years, plus shes literally focalors but human. Our girlie deserves the recognition

@stanloveslyney @Erbiarts The Archon art isn't depicting any official events or that, what it is depicting is a gathering of friends among the 7 Archons, which was common for the original 7. Her presence is not from being in the role of Archon, but because of the respect from the other Archons who are.

@Selena17208894 @Erbiarts i know but its just for me personally the hydro archon position died, there isnt one anymore it died with focalors, furina WAS an archon against her wishes for 500 torturous years, is it bad i dont wanna see her forced on that role in artworks? ik its not that deep.but my 2 cents

@Bamgm14 @arlilicchino Also the bit about the rules of Teyvat is so utterly and completely wrong. Nibelung created them to maintain Teyvat while he was gone, HP literally did not need them and lost absolute control purely due to their injuries from the war caing them to lose a lot of power.

@yanaglsm It means we have been unknowingly preparing for rebellion against the Heavenly Principles. Everywhere we go we accidentally recruit people to this cause. We have even aided in returning a Dragon sovereign to power and enabled the birth of a Trilune Moon Goddess. War is coming.

@stanloveslyney @Erbiarts Considering her one doesn't matter, it is canon that she was a real Archon for 500 years, like literally the Archon not just acting. She simply didn't know that or posess the powers of her station.

@Erbiarts I feel like people who argue that Furina isn’t the archon are just trying to prove they played the quest. Archon is a title and isn’t synonymous with gods and godhood. She wasn’t the god but she sure as hell was the archon.

@Erbiarts She is 100% an Archon, it is stated in the Archon Quest, her and Foscalors' Divinity were a singular entity only seperated, and so while Furina is her own person and a human, for those 500 years she was completely in truth the Hydro Archon.
