When you have the most conviction, When you know in your heart that you can do something and your bones are rattling with sheer will, that's the time when you're most likely to give up. Conviction is no man's land... The land where you only have yourself to rely on.

Most men are posers. When I say most, I mean 99%. Money, Style, Elegance, Watches, Rings, Charisma... All of it is just an amplifier of who you are. A killer could be dressed in pijamas, but you'd instantly know that he's about it because of his aura.

This doesn't apply to only push-ups, this applies to life as a whole. The flavor of life is pain, in order to love it and chew it, you have to make your insecurities eat it for you. Almost like an armor to shield you from the inferno life throws at you.

Walk in the fire. Every attack life throws at you, you have to keep walking through it like everything is okay. It burns because you're shedding off your weaker self for your stronger self. It's the pain required for transcendence.

Toughness isn't exterior. Toughness is a quality of the soul you only see when you look into someone's eyes. The eyes never lie. People who are walking through fire just to pull off the impossible vision they have in their head. The true primal lifestyle.
