Yesterday we recognized February's Awesome Authors! Each month a student is selected from each class for their excellence in writing. Keep up the great work!

Yesterday students who were nominated to receive the Principal's Pride award enjoyed lunch with Mrs. Geary and Mrs. Chipman. These students follow the High 5 Expectations and show great character! Keep up the great work!

Today we recognized our February Rockin' Readers! Each month teachers select one student in their class who has done a great job in Reading and these students get to choose a book from our Book Nook! Keep up the great work!

Staff had fun with another "Underground Spirit Week!" Students and administrators had fun guessing about their interesting attire!

On our February eLearning Day LPS staff participated in a training about trauma and how it affects the body as well as behavior. Staff found this in-depth training very meaningful and are now better prepared to help our students who are having big feelings.

🇺🇸 First Grade students learned about the Thirteen Colonies, the Boston Tea Party, The American Revolution, George Washington, Betsy Ross, Benjamin Franklin, the Declaration of Independence, Thomas Jefferson, American symbols, and more! We’re so proud of all they learned!
