@James_Dowson7 I agree with this, there are so many topics and skills covered on the national curriculum that makes it difficult to cover them in detail and teach them as well in the limited time given to the subject

@Primary_History A crowded curriculum means there's rarely enough time to do it justice.

What are the biggest problems and difficulties you find teaching KS1 and KS2 history?

@MissLStewart1 Alternative could be that there are a number of museums that loan out artefact boxes for free suck as the @DockMuseum that are good dockmuseum.org.uk/Loan-Boxes

@Primary_History Hands on / true to life experiences. They’re so expensive
