Trialling a ‘reading journal’ instead of the standard reading record to make it more enjoyable & independent for my class. Have a list of activities & ask them to complete at least one for each book they read, and just to keep track of when they read then the rest is up to them!

@_MrLevick There’s a snow ball or something that Cadbury do that’s pretty similar. I was given a chocolate bar version of it recently and it was almost exactly like the mini eggs chocolate bar 🙌

We have 1:1 iPads and whenever I model something on the board or if I have, for example, a multiplication square that would help children, I just put it onto Seesaw in the maths folder, so the kids can constantly refer back to it there. No need for the laborious wall of doom

I'm not having any working walls next year (will explain in next tweet) and so I have two display boards that 'need' filling. I was thinking of doing some class novel based artwork, but this absolutely is not my area of expertise - has anyone done any nice art around Holes?

Any fellow English leads willing to share how they structure writing across the school?? Looking at our curriculum and how best to lay it out and would love to see what others are doing that works well 🙏 especially in KS1 as I’m less familiar with how it works!

@hollieteaches Oh I love this already!! This is exactly the sort of thing I need to create - love that there are suggested LIs and the possibility of adding in other tasks if time allows too. I think this would work well for our school. Thank you 😊
