Teacher remuneration is too low. Workload is too high. Well-being is low. Overall funding is too low. Floor targets are not the right measures. Ofsted is no longer the right inspection tool. Trust is lost. Time for someone in government to to show leadership and sort this out.

When Peston asked Gillian Keegan, "To be clear the pay rise will not cut into school services?”
She replied, “no”.
It wasn’t true then. It’s not true now.
And the OSR has now told the DfE to be clearer.

The Office for Statistics Regulation has replied to a letter from the National Education Union about Government claims on school funding and the evidence they presented for their claims.

Ofsted reports are actually designed to be unbalanced. Strengths are only mentioned once-but all weaknesses are mentioned once in the main text & then repeated in the areas for improvement. Why? Do they think that everyone needs to be told twice about 'weaknesses'?

@Nicola123452 You can quote me too! Feb 2022: I shook uncontrollably and could not sleep or rest at all after day one. Before setting off to work on day 2, I was vomiting from extreme stress/anxiety. It doesn’t have to be this way. It shouldn’t be this way. How is it remotely helpful?

There's debate over @NAHTnews stance on its members handing in their Ofsted badges. In 2022, 800 of just over 1000 inspectors were serving heads.
Imagine if you all temporarily handed in your badges until reform happened.
JUST this could change everything.
