Prediction markets like Kalshi and Polymarket settle bets at .01 for the loss and 0.99 for the win. The 1% vig goes to the house on either side, but you can still bet on the .01 when bets are settled (usually house taking in chum bets). This guy saw it was announced incorrectly and bought at .01 on Fortune when the original decision was made, then cashed at 0.99. So not exactly 100x but you get the idea
