The temps for this one are a bit cooler than I’d like (50°) but the winds are blowing out to right at 13 mph so I like this spot for Murakami to rip one off Kikuchi.

Yusei Kikuchi has been a bit of a mystery this year as he dominated against LHB while struggling with RHB. He’s been much better against righties this year but not as sharp vs lefties. In ‘25, he allowed 1 HR to LHB. This year, he’s already allowed one. Both were off sliders.

I feel like at this point in the day, we’ve all seen the same names and the same plays, which does make sense. I’m going to try and find a few off the wall spots, where maybe we’re overvaluing a pitcher based on early season performance. With that in mind…

Looking ahead to tomorrow’s MLB eight game slate looks to be another difficult day for LHB. Of the 16 pitchers on the mound, 10 of them have yet to allow a HR to lefties. Not to say there’s isn’t opportunities within those, this is just a starting point.

@PrimePicks77 I like him quite a bit. Numerous barrels over the last 10 days. Martin also struggles throwing cutters to LHB so if Marte gets ahold of one, good chance it’s getting some air. FB/CH/CUT and other is just CUT. You can see a bunch of fly balls vs RHP cutters.
