I don’t even think it’s dramatic to say the whole rebuild now hinges on this upcoming lottery. We don’t have a young piece to build a championship team around and we’re out here acquiring injury prone vets that take us to the back of the lottery going forward.

All this is imo is buying low on a guy and once again trying to flip him into more assets like they did with Poole and now CJ. Difference this time is the team could start to become competitive while he’s here & could stay if it’s a fit. Still need a top pick + development.

Kliff better get a HC job or imma be pissed. Shit makes absolutely no sense. This org refuses to have any kind of stability. DQ just put a lot of pressure on himself. You’re next if things don’t go our way. The odds of hiring a good OC AND DC in the same offseason are low.

Meanwhile we had no problem giving contracts to our slow & fat DT duo that did nothing but cry and quit when things didn’t go their way. It’s nobody’s fault who is here now, but the FO moves made by Rivera were about as bad as it gets. Almost like we should’ve hired a real GM.

Chase Young had 10 sacks in 11 games this season. Happy for the guy but to this day it still pisses me off that we gave up on him for a late third round pick right after we traded Sweat and opened up a massive hole at one of the most important positions in the sport. 🤮
