At the Echelon PRIME Foundation, stewardship of the PRIME ecosystem is our mandate. Following extensive consultations with partners and key stakeholders, we are rolling out a multi-phase plan to right size the PRIME ecosystem. The first steps in this plan are to reduce the Gameplay Pool and update the Sink Schedule to incorporate a burn mechanism. Today, we executed the first burn of 11 million PRIME tokens from the gameplay pool, which accounts for 10% of all PRIME tokens. Additionally, the Foundation will implement two follow-up burn mechanisms: -A further 10% burn of PRIME over the next 3 years. -A burn of 10% of all PRIME passing through the Sink Schedule. This percentage will come from the previously allocated 4% to the Foundation and 6% to the Gameplay Pool. Following these initial steps, other aspects of the ecosystem infrastructure will also undergo planned changes, including PRIME-powered assets, emissions, and sinks. The Foundation will continue to actively assess and adjust strategies as needed to support the long-term stability and innovation of the PRIME ecosystem. Parallel Studios will be making an announcement about improvements to the game and ecosystem to follow.
