@Prime_Conger @TwinsPolice I think we also tend to oversimplify stuff like this. It’s a little hasty to say “Well now that this happens he’ll take it personally, get mad, lose confidence, and won’t play well again.” We don’t know him or the conversations that have taken place

It was prob the right move, just that all we heard was he flew to CA to meet with him and wanted to boost his confidence, and the 1st chance he has to do it he PHs for him with Trevor Larnach. It’s kinda funny, and not a great sign for Royce (he stinks)

@greggtmasterson @TwinsPolice Yea. Larnach is who he is. Royce has the potential to carry the offense, he’s done it. So I guess I just would lean more into trying everything to get a semblance of that player back. Which would mean not destroying his confidence game 1 but it might be a lost cause

@Prime_Conger @TwinsPolice I think this is one of those times where it’s like, yeah, I’m not excited about either options, so just make a decision. I’d probably leave Royce in, but at the same time, he’s yet to do much to put himself in position for pulling him to be BAD DECISION™️

@TwinsPolice I agree. Idc what the numbers say because Larnach is coming off the bench which is always significantly harder. It went from flying to CA because he’s crucial to us to PH for him in game 1. Camp must not have gone well

@Prime_Conger I feel more inclined to allow longer leashes knowing the expectations, so I would’ve leaned on giving him another crack at it. But also please just do something with your other ABs
