The Great Sphinx of Giza shows significant water erosion and salt weathering carved deep into the limestone. The mainstream explanation?
Rain erosion. The problem is… the Sphinx sits on the edge of one of the driest deserts on earth. So what kind of event could expose massive stone structures to enough water to erode rock on that scale? I’ll give you a hint, Noahs flood. “Gopher wood” only appears once in the entire Bible. The mysterious wood God instructed Noah to use for the Ark has never been definitively identified, but many believe it was a highly durable, water-resistant wood like cypress. Interesting that the vessel designed to preserve life through judgment was built from a specific God-ordained material… and sealed inside and out with pitch, a Hebrew word connected to “atonement” and “covering.” Nothing in the Ark story feels accidental.
