Maybe let Stronach keep part of the parking lot if it makes the selling price cheaper.

CDI is a publicly traded company (CHDN) and they likely don’t want a CAW Cutoff because it could mean less revenue and look negative to shareholders.
However, bettors pay for everything. The industry and CDI wouldn’t exist without bettors.
We need a win-win.

For people confused by this, "nearly all pools" excludes pools that are already limited. They still can't bet with less than two minutes to post in the Win pool and are excluded from the Pick-6 and Late Pick-5. Also, "one MTP" means at least three minutes until off time...

NYRA CEO David O'Rourke said that NYRA, as of Jan. 1, will restrict all CAW play in nearly all pools to "retail levels" as of one MTP. As in, CAW can still batch unlimited bets up to 1 MTP, but then must limit bets to under 6 per second after that.

Parimutuel wagering was intended to be equal competition for the money in each pool. Those with the most skill and luck get the money. WINNING money is the reward. End of story.
The Industry is at fault for the effed up mess that we now have with very little transparency. Simplify it if you want to grow the game. Zero rebates and lower take for everyone the best way forward
