Nobody asked for my opinion, but since Avalon/BOR has been out for a few days now so I figured i'd give my thoughts after playing a bit Things I like: - New Map (new is good) - Grapples and wallbouncing make fights super fun - No killstreak spam/no noti streaks (could've been fixed with minimap notis before but whatever) - More ways to get around the map with wingsuits, grapples, and uav tower balloons (wingsuit bugged on mnk tho FIX IT) - Longer ttk (sometimes) - in world events to get better loot and attract players to them (zombies area, gear crates) Things I don't like/need changed: - FIX MNK GLIDING BUG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - 100 players is not nearly enough - solos/duos missing (why?) - armor system needs removed or overhauled, same with trauma kit, complete RNG and inconsistent TTK - half the guns are unusable on a mouse because of iron sights, optic should be the first/second attach on every gun - can't stow weapon kits or dismantle upgraded guns to put the kits on a new gun - can't choose which weapon architype my gun is. why am i forced into finding 3 of the same gun until it's the right one i want to upgrade - zero loot on the floor - camos? blueprints? - reticles and choice of optic? every higher zoom scope is terrible without a custom reticle and they all have bad screen shake other than 1x - redeploy towers are on average 500+ meters away and contested. died to a 4 stack with gold armor and got instantly fulled? gonna take 5 minutes for a rez, sorry! - zero audio or visiblity in the cradle bomb zone - lobbies die out and lead to zero intensity in the endgame. giant open mountainside with 10 up in the 5th isn't super exciting - swapping to reserve lethal/tactical needs work. i can't do it with my tactical correctly because of my choice of keybind - my lethal/tactical shouldn't disappear when it runs out and then autopickup a different one that I didn't want I can tip bringing something new to the game but this isn't what I play a COD BR for, this feels like COD's knockoff version of Redsec. Fortnite, PUBG, Apex are all more refined experiences with similar pacing imo Personally I think iron trials/iron gauntlet with a revised money/progression system (with ability to obtain loadout guns and stack perks throughout the game) with 150 players would be 10x better than this. and to make loadouts not a necessity, keep the buffed gold/exotic ground loot with the hidden stat benefits and make them GOOD weapon builds

🚨 Blackout 2.0 Solos Incoming 🚨 Raven Software says that they’ve seen the feedback and Black Ops Royale solos is on the way! Coming next week to private matches first as a way to gather data on pacing and balance, more details on timing of release in public matches to come.

Good news: We’ve heard your feedback on adding more ways to play Black Ops Royale, and Solos is coming! While this will require some backend work and a few changes that need to happen before it goes live, we're excited to get Solos into the game and we'll share more details on timing as we get closer to deploying. We plan to add Solos as a Private Match option next week to help gather early data on match pacing and overall balance. In the meantime, keep your feedback coming throughout the weekend!
