Today, Santa Ana Unified School District started a new tradition of recognizing Principals for their schools efforts of being a CHAMPION of Implementing the District’s Graduate Profile! I am so proud of the Cesar E. Chavez High School Staff for all their work!

CCHS’s Assistant Principal worked with our District’s AWESOME Print Shop to design this ReUseable Banner so we can advertise upcoming Parent Workshops. All of our schools have FACE Liaisons, who work directly with families to provide a wide range of support and resources!

ASB Created a Scavenger Hunt during Spirit Week, and the Grand Prize was a Hidden Dr. Trucker Skeleton!

Today in place of our Monthly MTSS Staff Meeting, we have a group of Certificated and Classified staff who have Volunteered to do Home Visit to connect with students. Sometimes it only takes one connection to make a difference in a students journey!

HUGE Shout Out to our AP and PBIS Team for taking the time to create these simple flowers that all staff received today on the first day of school for 2024! Simple gestures really do matter!

As another school year starts (students arrive Monday), another batch of Biscuits and Gravy was served to the staff this morning! I really believe in feeding the soul!

When you have two Classified Staff who are awesome at creating Charcuterie Boards, you have them create one for your Summer School Teachers. Infact, if you live in Orange County, CA - they have created an Instagram Page, D&G Charcuterie Delights @dgc_delights.

Another year completed! So blessed to be able and offer these students a second chance at success with Love and Hope!

CCHS was recently recognized as a Model Continuation High School. Here is the California Model School Recognition Seal.

I received a call from the California Department of Education to offically inform us that Cesar E. Chavez High School is recieving Model Continuation School Recognition! This recognition highlights the work we do to provise our students with a second chance at success!

Congratulations to the CCHS PBIS Team and COST Team for another year of Platinum Status! Amazing things can happen when as leaders we get out of the way of our teams, and let them strive for success! Trust your teams, support their needs, and great things can happen!
