Virtual instruction resumes on Wednesday, January 5. Employees should telework through Friday, Jan. 7 with the exception of emergency personnel. Student meals will be available for pick up at 20 school sites Wednesday and Thursday. pgcps.org/offices/food-a…

Las comidas para estudiantes se distribuirán el miércoles y jueves en todos los sitios escolares. Miércoles: distribución de desayuno y almuerzo, de 11:00 a. m. a 1:00 p. m. Jueves: distribución de desayuno y almuerzo para dos días. De 10:00 a. m. a 12:00 p. m.

Debido al mal tiempo el sistema escolar de PGCPS estará cerrado el martes, 4 de enero con un código amarillo. El aprendizaje virtual está cancelado. La distribución de comidas para los estudiantes se reanudará el miércoles, 5 de enero y el jueves, 6 de enero.

Due to inclement weather, PGCPS will be closed Tuesday, January 4 on a Code Yellow. Virtual learning is cancelled. Student meal distribution will resume Wednesday, January 5 and Thursday, January 6.

State government agencies and offices will be closed on Friday, June 18, 2021 in observance of Juneteenth National Independence Day. Maryland is proud to observe this new national holiday.

There will be no classes for students or meal distribution on Monday, October 12 due to parent-teacher conferences. Our Parent Support Centers will also be closed Monday morning (they will operate regularly Monday evening).

CEO Dr. Monica Goldson will share an update on Wednesday, July 15 at noon about reopening plans for the 2020-21 academic year. The live virtual announcement will be broadcast on pgcps.org, the PGCPS YouTube channel and PGCPS-TV (96 Comcast/38 Verizon).
