I do tend to agree with Eoin Morgan and the other comms. If Bethell is in the team, he should have been in the bowling XI. There are two other players, Kohli and Padikkal, who do not bowl. If they think Virat is an inspiration out there, why they did not keep DDP as a reserve, keep Bethell in the XI and have all bowling options open.

@TheCaptainR45 MI main issue is Fatigue. Almost 5-6 players from MI were in world cup team and even Axar and kuldeep is not able to perform well. Constantly playing since last 1 year has been very exhausting for them, I think.

Strange things are happening in this Indian Premier League… Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Chennai Super Kings, three of the biggest teams, 13 trophies combined… and all of them struggling at the bottom. It doesn’t feel normal. These aren’t weak teams, these are champion sides with experience, match-winners, and strong management. Yet the performances look almost similar, inconsistent, out of rhythm, and lacking clarity. And honestly… it doesn’t feel like just an on-field issue. Because when teams of this level underperform together like this, it makes you wonder, is something off behind the scenes? Not saying anything directly… but it just doesn’t add up. Maybe it’s poor planning, maybe it’s team balance, maybe it’s mindset… or maybe something we don’t see. But one thing is clear, this isn’t the level you expect from champions. And that’s what makes it even more concerning. 🤔🔥
