Few months ago, I broke down after getting my 6th rejection that same week. I have been applying for jobs since last year. The bills were piling up, from house rent to electricity bills and I was overwhelmed. The jobs that were accepting me had poor pay, so I was not surprised. I would usually do my calculations (transportation, feeding, data, etc.), and nothing was going to remain, so I would decline. That very day, I still don’t understand what happened. After getting the rejection email, I started laughing, but nothing was funny because tears were streaming down my face. Was I emotional, Yes. After a while, I stopped and took a walk around my neighborhood. I felt better. I continued applying, and I am still applying. I have since learned how to pull myself out of whatever emotion or negative thoughts I am feeling in that moment. I just tell myself that it is well and that a moving man will always meet his luck. It is important that you don’t stop, keep going no matter what.
