President Trump, in a post on Truth Social, unilaterally declares an indefinite extension of the ceasefire with Iran, despite saying he would not extend it before a deal is reached. Trump is desperately trying to get out of the trap he himself created, and Iran doesn't show any signs of helping him save face! Given the current situation, we are basically heading toward pre-war conditions, but this time around, Iran has forced the US out of West Asia, taken the Strait of Hormuz under total control, and there is a lot for the GCC countries to learn and adopt from the new reality of the region.

Christ even healed the sick to the oppressive Roman soldiers, He even restored the ear of a soldier conducting an illegal arrest! Christ never stopped that arrest going on and He could if He had wanted! Christ then ate with tax thieves and when He was done with that, including giving time to known prostitutes, Christ was killed by the Roman oppressive empire, left it oppressing the Jews and went back to heaven. It seems His job here was to save us from sin not to overthrow the oppressive Roman Empire. I am not sure why I am saying all this.

Blockading Iranian ports is an act of war and thus a violation of the ceasefire. Striking a commercial vessel and taking its crew hostage is an even greater violation. Iran knows how to neutralize restrictions, how to defend its interests, and how to resist bullying.
