We’ve got to do something about these yard signs advertising on the side of roads.
Why shouldn’t we be the the city that has none of them on public property?

@wakullawriter Undoubtedly our biggest problems are those that result in death and suffering.
And yet, that doesn’t diminish the good work to be done making our city beautiful, or ensuring that public space is used for the public good.
Because the opposite of suffering is happiness.

More concerned about:
1- homeless people holding signs asking for help at intersections around Tallahassee
2 - kids going hungry at night until they return to school the next morning
3 - disconnected youth turning to drugs, violence, or suicide because we need more mentors

@tallyonblast I think it’s just a matter of picking them up, and if it becomes standard that they will be removed then the value proposition doesn’t work for people putting them out.

@PrinceMuratTLH There are dozens of statutes limiting advertising and signage on PRIVATE property. It should be a slam dunk to endorse a ban on signs on public property.
