Yo @elijahwood me thinks you’ve been had. What yr describing sounds like a #bootleg I’ve seen at flea markets. + you not knowing the timeline (Black LP is circa 87/88 & replaced by #Lovesexy) tells me u were ripe for the picking.

Such great memories of this night & the @ArsenioHall show as a whole (& the Party Machine) I had just graduated HS so staying up late was all good to catch it. Those are my 4 fave tracks from that LP + The Continental. Good times, I miss #Arsenio on TV

DID U WATCH? 33 Years Ago 2day, Prince appeared on Arsenio Hall in 1993. The show lasted for about an hour and 45 minutes as Prince decided to re-do a couple of songs before their performance was aired. They performed My Name is Prince, The Morning Papers, Blue Light & The Max.

Prince will always be #1 to me but there’s some stuff I’m like no thanks. NO artist knocks it out the park 100% of the time (if you believe so you’re lying to yourself) but I do think and feel he has more hits than misses.

In 40 years, it had never rained during the Super Bowl. On the day of 41st the heavens opened up and poured down hard. Because everything on the stage were live instruments and the stage floor was slick with water for he and his dancers, they asked Prince what did he want to do about the performance. Prince replied, “can you make it rain harder?” Long live Prince. The greatest halftime performance in Super Bowl history.
