The first African Genomics Short Course 2025 (AGSC2025) has come to an end. It was a very enriching experience. Eleven days of intensive courses on all aspects of genetics. Thanks to all the organizers and UCT.

It has been exactly one month (8/09-8 /10/2025) since I successfully defended my PhD thesis in genetics and genomics at KU Leuven, under the supervision of the excellent Professor Koenraad Devriendt and Professors Prosper Lukusa and Aimé Lumaka. Thanks for your support!

We were among the speakers at the #EuroDysmorphomeeting2024 currently taking place in Slovenia. I presented the first genetic results of Congolese patients with unexplained developmental disorders, analyzed within the framework of the DDD-Africa project.
