Great suggestion Jennifer Woollends, Quesnel SD28 Secretary Treasurer, to visit Quesnel Junior. It is an amazing facility to support student success. The first smudging space inside a BC School.

🌍 Make Climate Action a Top Priority!🌿 The BCSTA developed a Climate Action Working Group to explore how school districts can meet the #CleanBC goal of reducing emissions by 50% by 2030. The working group is calling for increased support to help school districts address climate action effectively. Their "Sustainability as part of Board of Education Governance" report emphasizes the need for: ✅ Sustainable funding to support climate initiatives. ✅ Leadership & collaboration with provincial ministries. ✅ Clear policies & strategies must be developed to enable school boards to meet the CleanBC emissions reduction targets. Let's work together for a sustainable future. 🌱 Read the full report here: bcsta.org/news/reports/ #ClimateAction #SustainableSchools #ClimateLeadership #GreenFuture #Bced
