I love how deeply it speaks to the way our childhood shapes the people we eventually become and it reminds me how much of our hearts are still molded by the little versions of us we once were. The story reminds me that the child inside of us never truly disappears. There will always be a part of us longing to be accepted—not because of what we can offer, or who others expect us to be, but simply because we want to be loved as OUR TRUEST SELVES. We received the ending we needed—one that honors the complexities of friendship, the weight of our pasts, and the simple truth that some people don’t change for the better or worse… they just change for good. Week 11 Recap Week 11 was filled with more meaningful moments at Muller. From my first Magnet Expo to welcoming Mr. Potato Head back on campus to celebrate great attendance, our school community continues to shine. We had fun with another Underground Spirit Day where teachers and staff joined in by drinking from anything but a cup. We engaged in professional learning focused on clear learning targets, lesson focus, and success criteria. Students set goals and celebrated their progress by ringing the bell, while our fifth graders explored new wonders at the Florida Aquarium. Music, art, and creativity flowed through our halls, reflecting the heart of our amazng little school.
