13 years ago when I was a new principal, I invited Joseph McNeil of the Greensboro Four (2nd from Left) to speak at my Black History month celebration. He attended with Julius Freeman (3rd from Right), a Tuskegee Airman. RIP Major General.

Today is the funeral for civil rights leader and activist, Joseph McNeil. He was one of four men who started the sit in movement in Greensboro, N.C. that desegregated the Woolworths lunch counter. His funeral is in Hempstead, New York. youtu.be/fG17Vi0usj4?si…
