Today marks the start of my 6th year as principal of Liberty and my heart is full. What makes this year extra special is that my son walked through these same doors today as a PreK student. @BaltCitySchools To serve as principal and father—it’s truly a special moment.

I don’t have a middle school, but I do have fifth graders headed there. Walking with them at the Middle School Choice Fair, after being their principal for six years, was a joyful, bittersweet moment! #TheyGotNext #MiddleSchoolBound

Just ended week 1 and my proudest moment wasn’t lessons or celebrations—it was helping a parent through a tough moment, watching them hold their child and whisper, “we are safe now.” @BaltCitySchools you may never see it on a data slide, but that impact is why I do this work.

Happy Mother’s Day to the heart of our home! Grateful for my amazing wife and our children who remind me every day why family is the foundation of everything. Wishing all the incredible moms and mother figures a day filled with love, laughter, you deserve it all and more!

This year, we introduced instrumental music for our 3rd–5th grade scholars—and it’s been incredible! @BaltCitySchools Watching them learn to read music and begin playing their instruments is such a joy. Can’t wait to start our marching band!
