Was it the best week for Brett and Joce? No.
Do we need a referendum about it? No. They were Canada’s best rep, this was a stacked field that had at minimum 6 teams that could comfortably win gold, and some good teams were gonna miss the playoffs. Unfortunately it was them.

Canada loses yet another DSC. This deep in the competition they cannot end up in a tie for the playoff round, they will need to get in outright.

For those who don’t know, DSC is “draw shot challenge”. The teams draw to the button for hammer before the game (closest to pin wins) and all of their draws for the week are added cumulatively. If there’s a tie for 4th place, playoff spot goes to the team with a lower total DSC

I found out yesterday my neighbor was the person who died in an avalanche in Kananaskis on Friday has been identified as 34-year-old Minetta Norrie, a teacher from Calgary.
Didn’t know her well. Knew her as she had 2 pups in the yard & would wave as I passed

Early thoughts on this is that its a favourable sked for #Riders. The Thursday night home game not great but its Game 1 so it shouldn't have a "huge impact". Good mix of Friday/Saturday nights. Thoughts?

Canadian curler Briane Harris has won her doping violation appeal case and is cleared to return to the ice.
It’s been decided she bears no fault or negligence and that there will be no period of ineligibility. Details shortly.

Excited to have some old teammates back and the addition of 2 younger teammates. Not going to be the same as my last Team Galusha, but will be exciting to mentor some of our youth in the NWT.
